The Testing Lion

Quality is at heart of everything we do, and it begins the home page. This is our demonstration site for a fictional pub, The Testing Lion. This is the first page that your customers will see and can be used for an overall description of your business and the services it offers. You can place all your information on this page, such as opening hours, contact details or you can use some of the other pages. You can tailor the pages to be exactly how you wish them to be.

‘FindMyPlace’ is a unique platform offering businesses an easy and affordable way to get online. You want your customers to be able to find your place, well here we are and we can do it at a cheaper price than anyone else. Our sites are fully responsive, this means they will look good on any device, such as a PC, tablet or mobile phone. You can spend as much time designing the site as you wish, or leave it to us and have your microsite delivered in just a few days.

Our sites can have up to 5 pages, although many of our clients just want to have a homepage as a lot of their information does not change over time. Our preview site features five pages in total to give you the flavour of a full ‘FindMyPlace’ site.

This is Home Page and the other four pages show the following:

• Drinks Menu
• Events
• Our Staff

This Home Page features the Page Layout ‘Example 4 – Fullwidth Page + featured image’ which provides a large full width photograph to show your premises or to highlight some of your amazing products. There is plenty of space to add some words about you and your services, as well as space to add some further photos.

The other pages for our preview microsite can be accessed by the button links at the bottom of the Home Page. Our second page features an example menu, using the ‘Menu- Mixed layout’ from our Menu Layouts section. The mixed menu gives you great flexibility to present your dishes in a number of different categories, such as pasta, pizza, steak, classics & more… We have also included the Drinks Menu in our preview site as our third page.

For the fourth and fifth pages, we have used the Events and Our Staff pages from our ‘Other Page Layouts’. You can mix’n’match which pages you would like to include for your site, or if you wish to keep it simple, you can have less pages, such as just a Home Page. When you open a page on the microsite you can choose if it opens in the same browser window or if it opens as a new browser tab. You will also see that every microsite has its own unique URL, which means it can be accessed directly via the Internet and therefore you can use this on your stationary and as part of your marketing. You can also use your own dedicated domain name. Our preview site can be accessed directly using https://www.findmyplace.co.uk/the-testing-lion

Finally, you will notice that when you are in one of our microsites, the top menu from the ‘FindMyPlace.co.uk’ website disappears, so your customers will remain on your site and not navigate away.
